15 Mar 2007 NBR Vice President Daniel B. Wright appointed Managing Director for China and the Strategic Economic Dialogue at the U.S. Department of the Treasury U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson has appointed Dan Wright as Managing Director for China and the Strategic Economic Dialogue. Dan is bringing his considerable China expertise to this significant initiative announced in 2006 by President George W. Bush and Chinese President Hu Jintao. We congratulate Dan and wish him all the best in his new position. With Dan's departure, Roy Kamphausen, NBR's Vice President for Political and Security Affairs, has assumed concurrent duties as Director of the Washington, D.C. office.
